Our Story...
We are a family of 7, living and learning, and growing our new life in the country. We moved from the city with our 5 children: Nolan, Naleah, Nora, Riley, and Rosie, packed up our golden retrievers: Allie and Millie, and took a chance on a country property, hoping to show our children and dogs the best that life has to offer. We are family-run CKC registered Golden Retriever breeders, and we hope we can help grow your family too! Welcome to Golden Root Acres!

We can’t say enough about how much we loved our experience in getting our puppy from Golden Root Acres. We could tell that he was so well taken care of in the weeks before we were able to take him home. And when we brought him home he was already socialized and adjusted to our young children because he had that at their farm. Barry & Kara (and their family) are all around wonderful.
