At Golden Root Acres, your dog will be treated like part of the family.

 

During their stay, your dog will be welcomed into our home, interacting with our dogs and children. We do not keep visitors in secluded kennels or runs, so being kid- and dog-friendly is a must.

 

Thanks to our invisible fence system, your dog will have unlimited freedom for outdoor play, allowing them to explore and enjoy their time safely without restrictions.

 

We recommend scheduling a meet-and-greet before their stay to ensure your dog feels comfortable in our open, social environment. This will give you the confidence that your dog will be happy and well-cared for during their stay.

Pricing and Packages

Need to Know

When is pick up and drop off?

  • Drop-off can occur at any time before 7 p.m. Pick-up must be completed by 11 a.m. Late pick-ups can be arranged, but day-play fees will apply.

 

What do I bring?

  • Please bring enough food for your dog's stay and their food dish (non-breakable). If your dog has a favourite bed or blanket, please send those as well. Crates are not required, but if you do crate your dog at home, please bring their crate, too.
